Dark rooms and a dreary dining room, all lacking air conditioning, is items talking against this hotel. We got a Tower room which was spacious, nice and with a commanding view. But the parking lot below was noisy. No one had ever cleaned the floor under the bed :-( . The monkeys were fun. Location was very off from everything.

The location is excellent. It share boundaries with Periyar Tiger reserve. I am appalled by poor architecture and electrical planning. Plumbing and sanitation is an issue too. No doubt company has spend a lot in the property but no one has noticed the fact that they have beds spread out away from ceiling fan in all the rooms. No science... More

Positives: Beautifully structured and landscaped Nice swimming pool - but max 4 feet deep only Wooden paneled rooms remain cool Friendly staff - helped with travel and activities Negatives: Food not great - lack of variety and availability of items in the menu Service is slow and sometimes they dont understand what we ask

We stayed here for 1 day. the Staff was good and we had cud see an cultutal performance also here. The location of the pool is nice and one can sit here and relax . But the biggest problem is the room which is small and cramped up. no space to move around. The food is decent nothing extraordinary.

This is a lovely quiet spot on a hill, near a school at a dead-end road above Kumily, and close to Thekkady. The staff is WONDERFUL, from the manager, to the bellhops, to the fellows at reception.
