We stayed here for 3 nights in all and found the place really nice. When we arrived in the evening we were greeted with some lovely coffee and our host Sabu was really friendly.
The room was clean and airy and had a balcony as well. Its conveniently located with the town and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary within walking distance. There are a number of (good) restaurants around the place so meals shouldn't be a problem. We usually ate at Sandra's Palace as we found the food to be the best there.
Sabu was really helpful with sightseeing and the cultural shows as well. He even took us around to show us his beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it for a short holiday.
