It's a small and lovely property. The jungle cottages were very nice and comfortable.. Beware of the monkeys when you keep the balcony open though.. It's in the middle of the market area and still peaceful and quiet. The service is very good and food good enough. Pool was clean and good. It was raining but staff very helpful.

My stay in thekkady was at abad green forest. The first plus point is that it is in the mid of the thekkady market road. you can go shopping whenever you like. A good hotel to stay. The best part is that it is located near to city.It’s in the heart of the market and easily accessible to the many attraction of the place like main spice market, forest (where you can enjoy night track), spice plantation, wax museum etc. Swimming pool and near by garden are were in good condition.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on 27th april 2013. They have A.C in the room (No.408) but want Rs.500/- extra to run this. Front office people are not prompt. We stayed here for two nights and we were travelling with our kids. The rooms were pretty spacious and we had monkeys on trees very near to our rooms in the mornings.
