We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the clean and good rooms and the friendly service. When they will get some more experience in organizing trips it would be even more satisfying. WiFi could be maintained better.

Also called the Chack Inn in Lonely Planet, is a beautiful old Heritage Building in Fort Cochin on a quiet side street and is set back from the road which is a plus due to motorized rickshaws and lots of motorcycles. The rooms are fairly basic but the bed is comfortable and my room had a fan and a/c. There... More

The Chackurpural Homestay is a lovely place with good staff and amenities. It is a little more expensive than the budget traveller will pay at 2300 rp per nights but the rooms are excellent with good ensuites and an excellent high pressure hot water system (so good after staying in places with little pressure or temperature). The location is excellent... More

Centrally located, yet away from street noise - a beautiful building nicely set back from the road, with a wonderful & friendly staff. Fresh squeezed juice & eggs in the morning. The cleanest place that we stayed in over a month traveling through India. Sonia was so helpful to us in making numerous phone calls and receiving & printing emails... More

Beautiful building from the outside, lovely and helpful staff, and clean and tidy rooms with fresh linen complimentary bottle of icy cold water, clean toilets and a nice breakfast included. From the outside, the building looks like an old Italian mansion, with a beautiful drive way full of well tended flowers and foliage. The floors inside are beautiful natural stone... More

One of the most impressive entrances we have seen in our two months in India. So it was a bit of a surprise to see just plain, bland, boring rooms to sleep in. They should put a couple of pictures or decorations on the walls to spruce it up a bit and make the inside less of a let down... More

Sonia was tremendous help arranging with the airport to get our luggage back when it disappeared on arrival at the airport. She arranged cars for us when we needed them and had plenty of advice about where to go and what to do. Handy location too.
