I'm backpacking through India and while not on a shoestring budget, I also wasn't in the heritage hotels league. Mother tree was perfect. The rooms are small, but furnished with care using some antiques. They are really clean (this is India) and well ventilated. Situated within easy walking distance of all sights, it is on a quiet side street so... More

I spent a long weekend in the Cochin area, with only one night at Mother Tree. I wish I could have stayed longer. My room was very clean and comfortable, and excellent value for the price. Fort Cochin in a tiny town, and it was easy to walk everywhere (and once around again) from Mother Tree. The best part of... More

The staff here is amazing. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are clean. There is a nice rooftop breakfast eating area. By far the best part of staying here is the helpful staff. It's in a good location. a good pick for the price.

We stayed for 3 night at this B&B. We enjoyed our stay because of the friendly staff and the clean room. The owner of this B&B gives you all kinds of information about what to see, where to eat and where to drink a cold beer. They even arranged a train ticket to Goa for us (which seemed impossible to... We originally booked for 3 nights at Mother Tree but ending up staying for 6 as it was so comfortable and relaxing there. Fort Kochi is a great place to unwind for a few days after much travelling. The staff at Mother Tree were very friendly and always helpful - even providing us with a map and an overview of... More

Stayed there the first 3 nights of our 3 months India-Nepal travel. Mothertree war really good option for getting used to India. Staff was really helpful with all information, attractions, train tickets etc. No hassle or anything, rooms were nice. Really good value!

Nice and fresh rooms and bathrooms! Extremely friendly owner, very helpful and always up for talking about anything. The top-hangout place is super chill, can sit and read, talk or just sit by the computer! All together a really great place to stay in fort Cochin!

Really friendly staff/owners who really give a "homestay" feeling as you would expect! Also stayed in Good Charma which is also owned by the same brothers and which gives the same excellent value and service for money!

Welcoming, great value for price, helpful and happy staff. Good breakfast and very easy going atmosphere. For me, being Scandinavian, cleanliness is one of the most important things when I travel and this place was immaculate. Sheet and cover freshly washed and pressed, felt like home, sweet home! We'll be back!!! :))
