This place was recommended to us, and I do understand why. What a great hospitality! My daughter and I arrived very late at night at this cosy home, was warmly welcomed, given a nice room and was served a very nice meal in the middle of the night. Harry John and his wife serve excellent breakfast, give all the service... More

This was our favorite place we've stayed in India (and this was our 3rd time in the country)! I arrived very ill and Harry got me to the hospital and made me feel totally looked after. The rooms are lovely, the breaky is great but above all the vibe of this place and it's wonderful owners is beautiful. We couldn't... More

We stayed 3 nights with Harry and Mercy at their really nice Home in the Center of FortCochin. Mercy is a very good cook. So don't miss the opportunity of trying her very good food. Harry is really helpful, friendly and has a good heart, we had many good and interesting conversations with him and a nice evening spent with... More

This family-run guesthouse is well situated in the heart of Fort Kochi. The host is very helpful and offers valuable advice for your way around. Our room was very clean and with a/c. Breakfast is not included in the price , but can be served on demand. We'd definitely go there again. General advice for Fort Kochi: Don't take the... More

we spend two nights in sithara homestay. our room was in a very good condition - everything was clean and working perfectly. sithara is slightly hidden in a side street, so that it is really a quite place. more important, the family was really friendly and made us feel at home. the breakfast and other food was very good! Friendly owner, reasonable priced and clean rooms. Although the rooms are not huge but big enough, they have good beds, fan or AC and tv and wifi. We payed 800 rps, the big family room (4 beds and balcony) costed 1000rps, the smallest double 500 rps. Located in the old center of Kochi, walking distance of restaurants and sights. More

Now there are many guesthouses and homestays who call themselves “home away from home”. If there is one who absolutely deserves this title it’s Sithära in Fort Kochi, Kerala. Looking back on it, we didn’t stay long enough. But reason enough to go back there again one day. Why? First of all the owners, Harry-John Bernard and his wife Mercy.... More

I stayed at Sithara for 2 days in February. The room was clean and the place was nice and central. The couple in charge was very cute and accommodating. I liked the experience overall but at the end, I got a bill with extras that I thought were included in the price, like breakfast, water and Internet. Overall, it was... More

Arriving at Sithara I was ill and Varun, the son of Harry John, the owner of the homestay brought me to a Doctor and was a big help for me. So at the first moment we felt we are in good hands. And that was true. Every member of the family was trying to make us feeling at home. Sithara... More
