I heartily recommend the Padikkal. The improbably named Bjorn is an excellent host who runs a tight ship. (And he knows more about my local football team than I do.) Nice clean rooms, a large comfy sitting out area, no problems with hot water, free WiFi and a big balcony with hanging wicker chairs. What's not to like? My girlfriend... More

Sushil the housekeeper will do everything to give you good days. Rooms are simply but correct and everything from the bathroom works, only there was not always hot water. They have several trips to let you see the environment (houseboat, elefants, beaches, waterfalls) for good prices. If you like more other things : they can help : cooking-workshops, yoga,cinema,... .... More

When you check into Padikkal the first thing that you encounter are the people who make it a great place to say. At the top of the service ladder is Sushil who will do whatever is necessary to make sure your needs at the homestay as well as in and around Fort Kochi are met. Even when it was impossible... More

We spent a great few days in Fort Cochin at this residency. Sunesh is fun and very helpful. Rooms were clean. The balcony was nice and tranquil considering the road is very busy. Overall, very good value and wi-fi a bonus :) Highly recommended!
