great location in a quite street. the building in the back is all new but there are also some cheaper rooms downstairs in the main building. in the back of the building there is a large empty field and across of it a mosque, so if you dont like to wake up early this might not be the place for... Spice holidays is a very pretty place with very clean, beautiful rooms (I was in the new building) and is very well located in the center of Fort Cochi. The owner and his wife are very helpful and friendly, and if you ask early enough, they will cook the most delicious masala dosa for your breakfast, yummy ! I would... More

The hotel is located in Fort Kochi which is the touristic place of the city. We were very close to the sea and the chinese nets. The room was okay but quite humid and with very little natural light as located in the ground floor. The price was okay : 400 rupees / night. The hotel is run by a... More

Stayed only one night but found it a relaxing and quiet place in the middle of all the activities of Fort Kochin.  The rooms are of reasonable size, clean and most importantly have good mosquito nets on all windows. The included sheets and towels were an unexpected convenience, the owner happily offered us a knife and cutting board for fruits we... We really enjoyed our stay at Spice Holiday Homestay in Kochi. Anthony (the owner) was incredibly helpful, gave us a map and many unbiased tips on what to do in Kochi as well as impeccable directions. The room was 850 rupees, and although it wasn't bargain basement it was very nice with a large, clean bathroom. Overall well worth the... More

Upon arriving you are greeted by the owner who provides you with all the information you need in a welcoming & friendly manner. The rooms are clean and a great size. The thing I loved was how well we were taken care of, no matter what we needed and wanted. It was great to find such wonder and friendly hospitality.... More

We had a wonderful stay with Anthony at Spice Holidays. Unbelievable value for a central location which even includes free Internet, which is so useful for booking the next leg of your journey. Anthony had lots of good advice on restaurants, and made us feel very much at home. His wife even got us caught up on our laundry which... More

The rooms are clean, quiet, the owner super friendly and it's perfectly located in the heart of Fort Cochin. The owner's family lives in the house since 5 generations so he is pretty proud of his town and can suggest you all the best places to have a real authentic indian experience.

We stayed there for three nights upon arriving in Kochi: great rooms, spacious and extremely clean, lovely little bathrooms. Great welcome and loads of help with booking taxis, tours and restaurant advice! We liked it so much we decided to stop by there again on our way back! It's very quiet and the family are extremely discreet yet very attentive.... More

We were told by another traveller we met who said we must stay at Spice Holiday when we got to Fort Kochi. She was right. The rooms were small, but impeccably clean and well looked after. The owner Anthony was lovely and explained that it was a 300 year old home that he mantains and makes every effort to keep... More
