This homestay was recommended to us by a fellow traveller who told us that the rooms were clean and comfortable, and above all, that the staff were really friendly and helpful. He was right! I'd describe it more as a friendly hotel rather than a homestay and it felt a bit odd to have breakfast in the reception area but... More

Clean, comfortable and modern. The rooms we had included kitchen areas so you could theoretically cook things in a microwave if you wanted to. It's a new building and things worked well, the air-conditioning was very effective, the TV system didn't work but I didn't care. Elim is part of a company that run packages to Munnar (a hill station... More

It is a tiny little bit out of 'the centre'; mainstreet of Fort Cochin, like 10 min. walk but then you'll get a very nice welcome in all aspects. Clean rooms, hot shower, best bed ever, friendly people, rooftop terrace, breakfast and so on. I only can say; go for it!

Our friend in Fort Kochi found us this place to stay. Initially they said they only had a free room for us for two nights (we booked very late), but they managed to let us keep the room for the entire week that we were there. We had organised another room through friends, but we were very happy to cancel... More

We only found Elim's Homestay by accident really and we felt really lucky that we did. The place we stayed in when we first arrived was fully booked on our return from Munnar so they recommended Elim's. On our arrival we had a very friendly welcome and were shown to a sparklingly clean room, with comfy beds and the nicest... More

We originally tried to book into Red’s but they were full and referred us on to Elim, and we were so very glad they did as this place is one of, if not THE, nicest places we have stayed at during our 2 months in India. While it describes itself as a homestay, the room quality and service at Elim... More

We very much feel we got lucky when we found this place. The rooms in the Elim Homestay are spacious with a kitchenette. The rooms were clean ( new homestay lets hope it stays "like new". The location worked ot good for us because the scooter stop was close by and it was central to everything. The cost of our... More

Elim Homestay was very clean and comfortable, for a great price! We paid 2000 rupees per night and were very satisfied with the quality of the accomodations. This was one of the only places in India where we had a double bed (not two singles put together). The best part about Elim is Phillip, the owner. Listen to Phillip, he... More

We found Elim Homestay after a short walk from the overpriced and scruffy homestay we'd booked into round the corner and quickly swapped! It's brand new, the rooms are hotel quality - ours had a beautiful chic bathroom and even a little kitchen. The beds were lovely and comfortable too. The location is an easy walk down to the centre... More

This new bed and breakfast is in a centrally located residential neihgborhood is away from the tourist hububb but within easy walking distance to good restaurants. Gladson, the manager, is very helpful. The architecture and furnishings are lovely. In short, it's comfortable, clean, air conditioned, affordable and has plentiful hot water. When we were there, last July, it had just... More
