we've spent 2 nights in this very pleasant colonial house. Our room was spacious and well furbished, on the second floor. But I've seen other rooms less pleasant, it's better to check by yourself. The environment is very green and calm.

The Fort Cochin area is loaded with places to stay. This, in my opinion, is definitely one of the better places to stay, although there are things that could be improved. The location is great, as the homestay is right at the parade grounds, just a few steps away from St. Francis Church and a few minutes away from everything...

Our hostess was so unacommodating at this home stay - we were given a room with no window! No natural light or ventilation that we felt so shut out in gorgeous kochin.
There is a clear disinterest in the comfort of guests and 'breakfast' was basically one slice of toast and an egg- don't ask gor anything else for fear...

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here - lovely old-worldy colonial mansion with wooden floors and ceilings. The room, in the old part, was pleasant and spacious. Coral Bernard is very hospitable and helpful and I enjoyed chatting to her as if we were friends. Not a budget hotel but a good address.
Positives: - lovely old homestay with lots of character - friendly yet business like owner - comfortable and clean room - quiet location and still central Negatives: - Minor things only (noisy fan, nowhere to sit outside)
Our family of five stayed in two rooms at this intimate and friendly family run homestay for one night, in Cochin. Lovely heritage building. Ideal location for short stay.
The rooms were very nice, a good size, clean and very comfortable. Wooden floorboards, good beds, furnishings. Breakfast was very simple, continental toast jam and eggs, fruit.
The Homestay is ideally...

We stayed 3 nights and had a lovely room on the first floor. Large and spacious with comfortable chairs to sit and read. The owners were friendly and helpful-we wanted to do some cookery so Mrs Bernard arranged that for us. Breakfasts were adequate but not inspiring-only got fresh fruit one out of three mornings but it was lovely to...

Stayed two nights at Bernard Bungalow. The location is close to "downtown Fort Cochin" right next to the Parade Grounds, and the room I stayed in was pretty basic but ok. The owner was helpful and offered some tips on tours etc. Seemed a little pricey though, but that might just be Fort Cochin in general. Ernakulam right across the...

The owner was very welcoming and friendly and helped us and other guests with advice about shops and restaurants and sort out transport and hotels for the rest of our trips.
The house is a beautiful old building, I am told it was once the Dutch consulate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is in a good quiet location...

Location couldnt be much better for the tourist sites of Fort Cochin. It is a 5...
