This place has a good reputation - it is certainly friendly but like many places in Kochi is now overpriced. There is certainly a freedom in the place around a central courtyard but rooms 8 to 12 (or is it 11?) are overpriced at Rs 2000, being small with inadequate bathrooms and noisy fans.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated and all the surroundings felt quite luxurious. We booked in to stay 3nights but found cheaper and more central option so we moved. This was mostly because the mozzies were out of control! likely due to the pretty small ponds and lots of greenery.

Make sure you get a garden room. I booked over the phone and was dismayed to find myself in a large clean room with no windows at all (but AC and some basic ventilation. I asked to be moved to a garden room, which happened for my third night and it was much better.
