While the accomodations were not the most beautiful , the views were clotheslines, and hot water was intermittent, we enjoyed our stay very much. The graciousness of the staff, more than made up for its inadequacies. Sivan and Lejo, made us feel like welcome guests and were especially accomodating. Daffodil homestay is a very clean, central and friendly place. Very the helpful and kind staff, the rooms at the first floor brite and very clean. If we come come back to Cochin, we will come back to Daffodil homestay!

The people were so friendly, kind and helpful, they had no issues with giving us an extrabed, late check-out, getting us tickets for kerala martial arts or kathakali, in short: they helped us troughout. Also the Tuk-Tuk driver they advised us was friendly and showed us around for just 50 INR/per hour/per pax...Definately worth the stay, wld always come back!

i really enjoyed my stay at Daffodils. The place is very clean and private. One feels protected. The staff is very nice and professional. the Homestay is situated in the calm area of fort cochin which is an advantage since it more quite there.

We had orignially booked Elim homestay and we were informed on arrival that the following day we would be moved the their sister property, Daffodil homestay. This place is unique because the staff was so welcoming and friendly that we felt a bit like arriving home. Rooms were nice, clean and calm. The breakfast is always with fresh fruits and juices. Looking at the website, one doesn't really see that next to the grounds of Daffodil, there are open sewers. The actual hotel grounds and building are quite well kept and the high walls sort of keep the outside firmly out.
