Good rooms...neatly maintained...service was ok....restaurant kadal had a lovely view.....but the lift was not functioning so fast...I mean we had to wait for atleast 15 min til the lift came to a stop on our floor .A decent choice not for the luxurious types......

We stayed in a double room non AC for rs 1300, which is a little overpriced to my opinion. The room and bathroom were ok, but nothing special. The the breakfast which was included was very good. The location of the hotel is good, not far from the trainstation.

We didn't stay in the hotel but had been to the restaurant 'Kadal' for dinner with family. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was slow even though there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The ambience is good (although the lighting is dim) and the view is lovely.

Describing itself as "The pride of Mangalore" this hotel is a great disappointment. I am easily satisfied, especially at 10pm and after a long train journey. I looked at 4 rooms. One had no bed. Nalapad residency was a great stay.we had a good food in kadal with friends. And the room service need to improve a bit i guess.......... restaurant has a excellent location!!!!!! its a must go restaurant..I shall recommend Nalpad residency to the people who wants to visit mangalore!!!!!
