Ok it was really hard to get a hotel room for four and we ended up at Nalapad residency after trying our luck at 6 different hotels in Mangalore. The only available room was the Royal Suit cost Rs6000 ($120 US!!!!) Room however was decent but when we asked for an extra bed (cost extra $10) they gave us a... More

Stayed: Sept 2011 Pros: Location (within walkable distance to St. Aloysius Chapel, Milagres Church and the Mangalore Central station), Kadal restaurant (excellent food), Good views from the top floor rooms, Reasonable tariff, spacious bathrooms, easy to locate. Cons: Room cleanliness (although the rooms looked neat, we could spot a couple of roaches), traffic noise will bother the rooms facing the... More

We're a family of three, two parents and a toddler. We were in Mangalore for a night and half a day, and for this purpose, this hotel was the perfect choice. The rent was reasonable, the room and bathroom were very clean, TV worked fine and room service was prompt. It is no luxury hotel, but for that price at... More

Picked up this place after reading reviews in Trip advisor - I would recommend anyone looking for a clean but simple budget place NOT to pick this hotel You will really regret it. this is my worst hotel stay ever. Its not that cheap either and not at all value for money .The ONLY good thing is the location. Here... More

Only one positive thing about this hotel is location. Except every thing do not have value for money. Food is not teaty and most important cleanliness of hotel was not up to mark. Environment was also not suitable for families.

Average mid-budget hotel, the rooms were ultra-clean. The front desk didn't speak much English so it was difficult to ask for directions. I was only in Mangalore for one night to break up a long train journey so I didn't bother much with the front desk.

Stayed here for a night and the rooms are damp and the hotel staff are unable to keep quiet during the night, so if you are expecting a good nights sleep i would recomend considering alternatives. The restaurant on the roof top has a great view, however the food is simply warmed up and served within 2 minutes

Compared to my stay in Mangalore internation, Nalapad was quite an upgrade for a 1 night stay in mangalore. Rooms were spacious and very similar to my earlier stay at mangalore international. The hotel came with a complimentary breakfast option however the options were poor. when asked for a watermelon juice i was given something which tasted nothing better then... More
