a perfect holiday escape from bangalore especially . Now the roads leading to chickmagalur is magnificient(except i guess around 20 kms is a little bumpy). showed 280 kms on my odometer. can be a nice drive too. firstly the place just blew my mind away especially the mountains that can be seen from the resort.food is good. dont expect it... “Coffee trails and the woods”

Hunkal woods represents a rare complex landscape of coffee and everything that grows around it. It is but, not for the fainthearted to venture here. For at night, the woods are think enough to be a forest full of pugmarks. We went on three different trails, an evening trail to the creek, a morning trail to elaichi, and arabicah trail.... More

“Great natural beauty, below average guest house”

The staff here were friendly, the food was nice and the location was pretty. Everything else was below average. The road leading up to the guest house was awful and we did some real damage to our car. This road is suitable for four-wheel drives only.
