On arriving at Mysore, I took to Siddhartha Hotel. It has been excellently maintained & the rooms are clean. The hotel room tariff is affordable & it has an excellent restaurant. Hotel is really close to some places of interest in Mysore. Its just a 15 minute tonga-ride (Horse carriage) which could be a unique experience - especially for kids.
