We spent a wonderful Easter weekend at Kuteeram Resorts. Although it does fall under the umbrella of Taj hotels, it isn't a typical Taj hotel. By that I mean it has all the hospitality and services of the 5 star brand but none of the fluff ( which I also enjoy :D). Kuteeram is located in the middle of agricultural... More

Taj Kuteeram stands opposite to Nitya gram Village..I think the major attraction for it .Both the places are full of peace .Tranquillity of the surroundings will help your soul to rejuvenate. You can feel the calmness in life ...We stayed here for 1 night.Rooms are huge with Dome stone structure ...like old fortress. Beds were made of stone(unlike wood ) which... More

We had occasion to spend a few days during Christmas Vacation at the Kuteeram. Firstly, the location on the outskirts of Bangalore. This is well-known but what hit us was the fact that this was absolutely remote; so remote that it took us a few diversions along lonely countryside roads just to reach the property from the main road. Incidentally,... More

This is one of the cheapest taj hotel to stay. Opposite to this is Nrityagram which is a dance village. There is not much to do in this place otherwise spend time in nature. Food what ever is cooked is grown here so that freshness is there but there is only what is there in the menu which gets boring... More

We had been to this "resort" 4 years ago and again today, as a day trip. And, I am sorry to say, things have deteriorated. The staff was courteous, ambience is lovely, green and quiet but the food, that was another story. The service was so..... slow, portions were limited (the last time they had a lavish buffet spread for... More

This is probably the cheapest Taj hotel you can stay at. Nestled amongst greenery, art and serenity it is a mere 2hr drive from Bangalore. The rooms are tastefully done to resemble rural India, replete with artistic touches to justify it's existence on premises of the dance academy Nrityagram (literally, Dance Village). The service is excellent and we have met... More

Very near to Bangaloere, this resort is a must visit for a weekend. Fentastic hospitality ( really Taj std) and excellent food. Though there is no swimming pool etc, the cottages are so cozy, that you do not need any external facilities to make you comfortable.. The ethnic designs of the rom, layouts, everything about this place is perfect.. Visit... More

Taj kuteeram is about 2 hours from bangalore city and that was the biggest attraction to us when we were looking for a getaway. The property is relatively small but done quite well. The biggest drawback is the food. The food makes you think that they do not expect many people to come by. We reached the place just in... More

I visited for a weekend stay at the Kuteeram last month. And it was an experience that I wont be repeating. The Kuteeram represent nothing of its namesake, meaning "spiritual retreat". The place lacks the taste or the class represented by Taj and so was a complete disappointment. Done in a rustic manner the place adjoins the nation wide famous... More
