I was at the Leela Palace for a conference. It is a magnificent hotel from both outside and in. It is sprawling and makes you feel pretty royal and a little overwhelmed when you enter it. I attended a training program and utilized the hotel's group facilities. Several in our group complained about the hotel's ventilation and general cleanliness - some becoming ill with colds and allergy related symptoms during the stay. I have stayed at the Leela Palace Bangalore three times since 2007 prior to this trip. My previous experiences were very positive. This is a very beautiful hotel with an upmarket galleria attached. It used to be right opposite the airport until the airport shifted. The foyer is one of the best I have seen. It really looks great. At the Leela you will be hanging with the business elite of Bangalore. Some serious money stays here (not me!). It is expensive... more

The hotel accommodations were very comfortable. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and professional. The food was very good and of good variety.
