Beautiful room, good breakfast, very helpful staff - request make room, it was done almost immediately, my transport to airport was late but they continue calling them and updating me. Over all it was a nice experience staying with the The Lalit Hotel

The hotel is beautiful! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were great, and beautifully decorated. Our room did have windows in it that provided natural-light during the day. Shower was fantastic! Perfect after a long day of sight-seeing

i stayed there between 31st March and 1st April 2012. While the palace is awesome, the service levels were poor. There are times when nobody responds on the landline number. The food quality was poor and to make matters worse, they swiped my card multiple times . I had to chase the credit card company for correction later.

I have always advocated and cherished this beautiful palace which I rate on par to Badrutt palace in st. Moritz or Victoria Jungfrau in Interlaken . Checked into the hotel for 3 nights. Beautiful Property, gracious staff , and very good rooms. It was raining cats and dogs in Srinagar and the staff was very helpful.
