“Perfect abode in the Valley of Beas”

Hundreds of hotels have mushroomed up in Manali and chosing one or having being chosen one for you means playing a lottery. More chances to lose and face disppoint, one to rejoice and celebrate. and after failing to book a few hotels with a local agent in Bombay(fortunately), i came across this really nice place in Manali, ofcourse thanks to my cabbie.

Hotel Chandramukhi(cottages) sits quiety in the valley of Beas River, off the road hence not easily spotted, flanked by snow covered mountains on both the sides. If you are looking for a budget hotel yet expect a lot of cleanliness, this is THE PLACE! Moreover added perks are:nice food,quick service,bargainale rates and the enchanting view of snow clad mountain ranges. Since it was an off-season(March 2011) availability was high and hard bargain was easy.

A 2star property, it another USP was it is free from hustle bustle of tourists around. Its located 1.5 km from Mall Road hence accesible. I lazed in the swing in... More

“Lovely hotel,very Peaceful and scenic”

We booked this hotel for three days in month of May. The best part of this hotel is its location.Its adjacent to beas river.Since I love to play in water I enjoyed this place a lot..Anytime you can go and sit on the riverside. The Rooms are very clean. The view is very nice as compared to the hotels which are near Mall Road. THe only drwaback is they dont have balcony(although a wide glass window is there in each room.

The service was also preety ok. Overall a good Hotel. More
