The Palm Grove is set in the heart of Cavelossim Village a little away from the more recently built tourist stretch of the village and is what it says on the tin and a lot more. We stayed in The Palm Grove Hotel. Which was the first Goan hotel 20 years ago and is owned by Lourencinho Rodrigues Known to us and others as Lawrence. He arranged for his taxi to collect us from the airport and we were met by a happy smiling lad with a sign saying my name on it. His cheery greeting... More

We stayed in this hotel over Easter 2007. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Lawrence the owner collected us from the airport on arrival. The hotel is situated in the village of Cavelossim and is a good 10 minute walk into the tourist area of Cavelossim and Mobor. The hotel has a brilliant restaurant which alot of indians eat at....
