Excellent stay from start to finish, Food here is incredible. This 3 star mini resort would put any 5 star hotel to shame when it comes to dining, Plus it was an all inclusive stay. All the staff are welcoming & friendly we chose well coming here for our holiday. OK now let's mention what needs to be improved. 1, WiFi is very intermittent. 2, Lighting in the bathroom is very poor & no shaving mirror. That's it just the 2 negatives. So overall its a great little resort especially for the more mutual clients & families. We will be coming back.

We had a fortnight at the Aldeia Santa Rita [ASR] and found it to be staffed by a welcoming, friendly, and professional team. The hotel itself has lovely gardens throughout and plenty of palm trees, which allow for lots of birds, chipmunks, and other local fauna. Rooms: A very traditional Portuguese villa style/looking hotel, the rooms are much the same, although some are of a higher standard than others. These rooms seem to be the ones on the main walk through and face the pool. We really liked the traditional feel and found our rooms to have all we needed, with the exception of a comfy bed. The mattress was very hard, thin, and laid on a solid wooden frame. We did ask for a topper, which helped to an extent. So just be aware. Two fans and air con ensured we could keep cool when needed. Very nice bathroom with a decent shower, and it all looked pretty new. There is no safe/safety deposit box in the rooms. These are all in reception, and you must provide your own locks. We had a first-floor room and would choose this again as it gave more privacy. It was also good to have tea and coffee making facilities plus a full-size fridge. Food: All buffet style with the exception of "a la carte" nights [every other night]. We definitely had some very nice food on the couple of evenings we did eat at the ASR including a selection of curries and some nice soup . Although we were booked All Inclusive, we had no intention of being so as there are some very good restaurants in Candolim. Otherwise, the food was very much aimed at domestic tourists, so some may find a very limited choice at both breakfast and dinner. Fresh eggs , omelette etc where readily available and cooked to order each breakfast. There was a very efficient toaster and fresh porridge, 1 type of fruit and usually 4/5 hot dishes which, as I've said, were mostly Asian inspired. Overall, the quality of the food was average, in our opinion. Pool: Very nice pool, well maintained, fair amount of sunbeds for the most part. However, there were not enough areas of shade/umbrellas, and it did get very hot. The world famous sun bed baggers were very much in evidence, and many beds were bagged but unused until later in the day. This is annoying whatever hotel or country you're in! One downside, the ants and other small insect critters. These were seen crawling all over the sunbeds throughout the day, and on the day I stayed by the pool (morning) , my bed was under attack all the while. The ants were even more active from about 1630hrs onwards. Not a pleasant situation and 3 of us were bitten, but it evidently did not bother the many who stayed at the pool every day. Location: Very much situated at the Fort end of Candolim, fair to say you're in Sinquerim. It is a fairly quiet location which is nice and it's a good walk to the busier parts of the resort. Taxis are available at the hotel if needed. Negative for us: the " entertainment " . This was mediocre at best with only a couple of accomplished singers, and often began during the evening meal thereby ensuring everyone had to walk across the entertainer to get to the buffet. Whatever the entertainment was, it was loud, very loud. Thankfully it ended automatically at 2230 each night. On our penultimate night, there was someone who thought they could do a better job than the singer. They couldn't and it became like a very bad karaoke competition. I was surprised the local cats didn't come running! Please don't let the ASR become just another hotel, it has so much going for it, it would be a shame to lose its uniqueness. Would we stay again? Yes...with consideration given to the location and our fellow companions, and if we weren't able to secure a hotel nearer to the centre / closer to the area of the beach we favour.

Enjoyed 14 December nights in the Aldeia with TUI, All inclusive package. It exceeded our expectation in everyway! An excellent base to explore the area or somewhere you can just chill, making use of the restaurant and pool area. All the staff are constantly genuinely friendly and attentive, beautiful buildings and gardens, a green oasis tucked away just off the main road. The pool is the right size for the complex, never an issue with sunbeds and surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. Several large parasols so you can choose to be in the shade or sun. The photos on web sites don't do it justice.. particularly the pool itself which is more inviting in reality than the "green" tiles suggest on pictures. Food was exceptional and varied. During our stay 3 al a carte menu evenings, 3 buffet and 1 "sizzler night a week. Lunch eother a buffet or menu. Always a good choice of Indian or European dishes. We'd apprehensively booked the AI options due to my wife's mobility problems and uncertainty about how we'd cope with busy streets etc. We were glad we did, Aldeia is the only place we've stayed were you are actively encouraged to drink and eat there, amazing service in the restaurant and pool bar area. Evening meals were supported by solo singers and local cultural entertainment, a good mix. Every night you are given a slip to provide feedback and the smallest suggestions are actively responded to on your next visit, its not just a tick box exercise. A short walk out the back of the hotel to a nice quiet area of beach, left to Fort Aguada, right to Candolim, it's a sandy quiet track with shacks close enough on both sides, but none of the crowds found else where. A few minutes walk and you're into the busy shacks, with a paved and lit side road running back up to the main road for dark evening return trips. Straight out onto the road at the front, taxis always waiting and the bus to Mapusa via Candolim can be stopped on the bend outside. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance in both directions. We'd booked the standard room with TUI as it wasn't clear what the pricey supplement would get you. Their web site isn't particularly clear as to what the rooms consist of between the 2 choices. We had no 3rd bed in the room but it was perfectly adequate, large enough with a spacious first floor balcony. 2 ceiling fans, effective Aircon. Kettle, large fridge ( stocked and replenished with included soft drinks and lager AI ) and sink area in the room + large TV. Great shower in the updated bathroom. Cleaned every day without asking, the housekeeper even came looking for the key if you hadn't left it in reception. A very thin futton type mattress but this was quickly topped up when we requested it, standard double bed. If we come again we'd pay the supplement for the larger rooms which have a separate living area and bedroom, very spacious and looking out onto central walkway. The balconies on the downstairs standard rooms are very small with some apartments backing onto the hotels boundaries, I'd have been very disappointed if we'd been allocated one of them so give some thought to how much you'll want to sit outside your room. Standard room J6 was perfect. The other guests were a friendly mix of English, Russian and Indians. Overall a highly recommended small hotel in a quiet beach location that we hope to visit again! A very good base for anyone with mobility or sensory issues as the resort itself is compact, all one level and quiet. Thanks to all the staff for giving us an amazing stay in Goa !!!!!!!

II love this place. You will find bigger, smarter, higher star hotels than this all over the world. But you will never find a hotel with a bigger heart. Every single member of staff - pool man, manager, waiters, cleaning staff, receptionist - everybody went the extra mile in looking after me after I had a serious accident on a TUI excursion. The food is lovely, the rooms are spotless, and I can’t wait to return.

This was my sixth visit to goa and my first time staying at the Aldeia Santa Rita resort but it wont be my last. ASR is a wonderufl little resort about 52 apartments a small pool which did seem to be the perfect size. My room was a good size comfortable bed, decent walk in shower, fridge, tv, indoor and balcony seating. Room was cleaned every other day and to a high standard. Onsite restaurant was excellent probably the best all inclusive I’ve had. Staff at the resort are friendly helpful chatty and always had a smile they are a great asset to the resort and I can’t wait till i return in march.

Aldeia Santa Rita is a Comfortable Resort that has Very Well Maintained and Comfortably Furnished Lovely Portuguese Style Villa Type of Rooms with a Balcony, Sitting Room, Kitchenette and a Bedroom with an attached Bathroom. It has a Decent Sized, Clean Swimming Pool, a Large Restaurant with a Decent Buffet Spread for Breakfast and is Conveniently Located next to the Kingfisher Villa and just 200 meters from the Candolim Beach. Friendly, Helpful Staff and Courteous Service. Large Layout with Good Landscaping. Only Drawback is Very Limited Parking Space for Cars, but with Double Parking and leaving your Car Keys with the Watchman, this is also managed well. Good Value for Money and Well Recommended too.

We took a week long work + vacay staycation in Goa during the last week of December in Candolim, North Goa at Aldeia Santa Rita right next to King's villa on the Aguada-Siolim road with a short walk to the beach. This was our second visit to Aldeia after almost a year. This resort had several Portuguese styled colorful Villas, broken out into multiple rooms in each villa across 2 floors. The reception area was right at the end of the hotel, so we had to walk dragging our luggage but were able to check-in smoothly as we had just arrived around 2pm which was their check-in time. We had booked the basic Standard Room which was towards the back of the hotel. The room was decent in size with a just about comfortable bed, AC, refrigerator. There was a small sitting area just outside the room. The bathroom was decent with basic toiletries that were regularly replaced during daily house-keeping. The Wi-Fi was decent but there was no power backup, however, there were hardly any power cuts and hence we were never inconvenienced during our week-long stay. Breakfast was included in our package and it was a basic spread but nice and delicious with enough to eat. We could just walk across to the beach located behind the reception area or laze in the pool. The rooms, bathrooms, furniture were slightly outdated but seemed painted recently. House-keeping was done daily but we had to leave the key at the reception while going out, then only they would clean the room. We were able to arrange a bike from the hotel itself. Check-out process was quick and we had already arranged a cab with the hotel a day prior and then were on our way back to the airport. Overall, the stay was decent and we enjoyed our time here, absolutely worth it even in the December peak season compared to some of the other high end hotels that we have stayed at in the past visits to Goa. Thank you Aldeia Santa Rita for the nice experience! We would definitely recommend to stay here!
