This is a good hotel which has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Room i stayed in has a/c which cooled the room quickly. If you find yourself in Labasa Fiji, the Grand Eastern is a great place to stay. Simple, nice, clean hotel. Comfortable beds and great staff, mostly business travelers, bar and restaurant on site. I liked this place. Walk-in price was $85 for a Standard room, $110 for Deluxe, which I selected. It was on the pool, pool is stone-colored, kidney shaped, nicely unheated. Best hotel to stay when in Labasa, staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend to any type of traveller a cool oasis to put up ones feet in the heat of the Labasa town.
