My boyfriend and I stayed here in early Feb 2009 and though the hotel is basic, it's pleasant enough. The room was ok - the cleaners did a good job; changing the bedding daily and using the sheets/pillows to leave 'welcome decorations' on the bed. At the price the facilities are OK and food quite good value. However, several people, including myself, experienced thefts from their rooms - apparently carried out by room service. Just got back from a weeks stay at the Ocean Bay Hotel. My room was a lot larger than I expected. Infact twice the size of most double rooms I have stayed in. good all round experience in a very reasonable budget hotel. rooms and restaurant clean and basic but all seem to have air con, tv etc. however shower a bit dodgy but that might have just been my room. residents bar up 2 flights of stairs and a bit on the warm side during the evening also football on the screens... For the price you pay you cant get better than Ocean Bay. Location is excellent (off Naama Bay), staff friendly, breakfast good.
