Halomy, 3rd visit (May 2012) to this hotel, since 2009. What a shame that the owners are not investing in the 'up keep' of this little gem. Pros: Great location, the best location/view in Sharm. Should be promoted more by the hotel owners, then people will visit for a drink etc to enjoy the view. Great pool & surrounding lounge... More

The Halomy Hotel was very good value for money, it was clean, staff coudnt do enough for you, and it took 10 mins walk into nama bay, its basic but the views are fantastic overlooking nama bay, I loved it there and will be staying there again in the future

Stayed here for xmas/new year felt i had to put a review after reading some of the bad ones on here . Yes the hotel is quite run down but i was not expecting much for roughly £ 24 per night all inclusive ( could you get a room anywhere in the UK for that ? ) . The location... More

Stayed in the Halomy in October last year for 2 weeks. The only good thing i can say about the hotel is that our room had a great view over naama bay and speaking to a guest who had been to this hotel several times said the room we were staying in was one of the best in the hotel,... More

My friend and I stayed here for a week as it was cheap and centrally located in Naama Bay. To get to the centre of things, you just have to walk through the grounds and down a long steep set of steps. Views over the bay are fantastic. Unfortunately this is the only fantastic thing about the Halomy. The hotel... More

stayed here on my own whilst visiting friends in Sharm for 12 nights, I didn't eat at the hotel, so couldn't comment, but as a base to shower, shelter from the sun and sleep, it was ideal. Right in Naama Bay (up some steps, so great views) but away from the main drags. If you are planning to lie on... More

Before we went to Sharm we read the reviews of the hotel on here, and I was a bit apprehensive to stay at Halomy to say the least! However, it's not all bad! One thing you have to remember is that it was one of the first hotels ever built in the resort - over 20 years ago. It's location... More

We spent 9 nights here at the beginning of March - an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Yes, hotel location is its best asset - impressive view over the harbour. The hotel is run down, but it still has a lot of character and ample grounds - ideal for those who don't like those hotels where sunbeds are so close and... More

stayed here with my boyfriend 12th March - 19th March. The room we got originally was awful! no windows and felt a bit like a prison cell! We quickely went and asked for a room change and they didnt even bat an eyelid. (must get asked all the time) the room we got moved to was MUCH better! had a... More
