We stayed at four different Red Mangrove hotels during our trip. The others were 5 star in our opinion. The problem here was not the room (cabin) itself. There are about twelve individual cabins here and they all seem to be identical. Each has two twin beds and a shower, which is adequate, BUT - they each have a window... More

This place was great! The cabins have three beds, but it is a little snug for three adults although you do not spend much time inside anyway. Two things about staying here, you will need DEET, those who did not have it were sorry. Also the power goes out at night, so no alarm clock or camera battery charging available... More

One doesnt expect much in Floreana. The Red Mangrove cabins were adequate, although nothing luxurious. They did have a fan and air conditioning for comfort. The fan was not really easily usable as it was a floor fan that was sitting on a shelf on the wall. Our room was two small single beds (not really big enough to be... More

We stay here as a part of Darwin's triangle tour that booked through latin exceursion. The room is quite small but clean with air condition and hot shower. The beach nearby is beautiful and great for snorkeling with sea turtles and sea lions and gorgeous view. The food at the restaurant was basic without any choices but quite delicious (a... More

We stayed at the Floreana Lodge for 2 nights on the 8 day/7 night "Full Adventure" tour package. We would highly recommend this package, and will focus on the specifics of the Floreana Lodge in this review. Facility: As you will soon find out, there is very little in terms of "civilization" on Floreana, with its 100+ inhabitants. That being... More

Stayed here as a guest on a women's tour. This lodge is actually a series of cabins located right on the beach! Amazing views and beautiful walks available from the lodge. Each cabin has 2 single beds, some 3 single beds, private bathroom consisting of a shower, small sink and toilet, and A/C unit. The beds are comfortable. Our bathroom... More

We were on a Friendly Planet tour (www.friendlyplanet.com) tour to the Galapagos and this is where they placed us for the second leg of our journey. See our review for the Red Mangrove Adventure Lodge and the Red Mangrove Diver’s Lodge.. This is a quaint and rustic little lodge on the beach. Great views. There are only bunk and single... More

Arriving at Floreana, it is obvious that we are in a much different place than Santa Cruz as even in the twenty-five foot cabin cruiser, we could not make it to the dock, and we got into a smaller motorized craft for the five minute journey. What met us on the dock was unbelievable - sea lions littered all of... More

Floreana Lodge is actually a small group of cabins built with a boardwalk right along the beach on Floreana Island. Photos on the website shows exactly what they look like. Our cabin had a bathroom and two single beds unlike other reviews which indicated bunk beds. The cabins are connected by a wooden boardwalk that was a great meeting/socializing area... More
