I have two experiences with crown motel and both times satisfied me completely right down to the wonderfully kind countermen. The rooms bathroom and bed were cleanish and had mesmerizing pattens coming off them, that was only the first night . It was clean and tidy. Do not listen to any of these people on here. We went for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. I itched for three days, there were drug going on right across the street and skanky hookers walking in and out of the motel. The rooms were dirty and i even saw cockroaches in the fridge. Stayed here one night, and that was enough. The room was filthy..luckily I keep sanitizing wipes in my car because I had to sanitize everything. Didn't shower there because the shower curtain was filthy. There were beer bottle caps on the floor as well. I also asked for an extra pillow and was refused. Hotel was conveniently located. Went down with girlfriends for teacher convention. Clean, safe, nice owners. The other reviews scared us but we were pleasantly surprised. more

This motel had no hot water,the elevator was not working,the beds were sitting on peices of wood and the airconditionar was also held up by peices of wood.The door had metal hanging from it. This place was a nightmare. They should of paid me for staying there. If you don't mind dirt or the chance of contracting some sort of infection or unknown virus at minimum. I wouldn't recommend this place to a crack head..Need i say more. more

This motel is not meant for a nice vacation stay. Cut my foot on the metal bed frame which stuck out beyond the box spring. The rugs, and some other items, need replacing. It was only $40.00 so I really didn't expect much but next time I may spring for something a little nicer. Best part was the close proximity... more
