5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 May 2012 NEW

We booked this hotel through Venere.com and couldn't be happier. As of May it had only been open 9 months. It was an old house purchased by two partners and rebuilt to house 8 rooms and two suites on a quiet street one block from the malecón. We had a downstairs room near the desk that was not spacious but... More

My stay at this hotel started off on a bad note. I booked through bookings.com having been given a reduced advertised rate. I didn't read the fine print and the next thing I knew was that my credit card was charged for all three nights immediately upon booking. When I got to the hotel, I was told that they only... More

Overall my stay at Casa de Isabella was amazing. We were only there for 2 nights as we had limited time... but I would absolutely stay there again. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very nice common areas. And for gay travelers it is perfect. Everyone is gay friendly and they make... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Isabella. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We really felt at home. The room was comfortable, the bed AMAZING! Our little girl of 18 months enjoyed the pool on the roof terrace and there are many delicious restaurants near by! The two ladies who took care of the breakfast did a great... More

What can I say...all the experience in Colombia was amazing but I have to say that the best part of it was my stay at Casa de Isabella. It is a really nice house, the rooms are just perfect and they offer I Pads. The staff was really friendly and helpful, specially Franklin and Dauner. I definitively recommend Casa de... More

I chose this hotel for its good reviews and its location by the sea. The hotel is nice but the decor is something strange has presiosa architecture but there are elements that do not match the style. The rooms are quite small, has comfortable but I miss a place to sit with the computer without being a couch or bed,... More

What to say! The hotel is small (which I like) and pretty looking. The staff at the front desk were friendly, but the staff concerned with providing breakfast not so much. They looked at us as if we were asking for the strangest things and were absolutely not interested in having to go out of their way to provide you... More

We stayed at Casa D'Isabella for a night in March 2012. It is a great little hotel only a couple of minutes walk from the best parts of central Santa Marta. The rooms are very nice and are equipped with mosquito nets (fitted to the four poster beds), iPod docks and Apple TV, amongst other touches. The hotel also has... More

Form the moment that you arrive to the front door to the time you leave, you are treated warmly by the wonderful staff. All the minors glitches were taken care of promptly. The I Pad provided free of charge was appreciated. The property is tastefully decorated, The rooms are clean and generous in size. We enjoyed the roof top Jacuzzi with... More

Thanks for the review. The coffee makers in the rooms was discussed often and we felt in the end guests would not use as much and may in fact appreciate having it alwys available around hotel. I am now thinking we should also have one in the room as well. Thank you for you repsonse and idea. More

Casa de Isabella was our favorite hotel during our multi city visit to Colombia's Caribbean Coast. We highly recommend it for four reasons: 1) Extremely accommodative staff (thanks to David, Leonardo, and Dauner!) who spoke excellent English and tended to all of our needs (arranged parking for our rental car, provided excellent restaurant recommendations with maps to get us there,...
