I stayed at Tamarindo as part of a group tour in May 2013 for 2 nights. The hostal is in a good location, close to Parque Lleras (full of restaurants, bars, cafes) and easy walking distance to the metro station. The room was clean, but our room had no exterior windows. The interior "window" faced the front desk of the... More

I stayed at the Tamarindo B&B on Carerra 33 for 5 nights. Natalie & Ramiro are both great! While Natalie speaks fluent English, Ramiro does not- but it's not a problem, coz he will help you out no matter what! The B&B is super clean, the rooms are big. My bathroom (room no. 2) was a little small and my... More

This made our trip. After the horrors of Cartagena we found a helpful lady by the name of Natalie who provided excellent service and even adjusted our trip for us to include a lovely town named Salento that we had previously not heard of! Cited close to the main square and with lots of local amenities. Highly recommended.

Private room on the street side with private bath. However, tidy and quiet. No problems, good help with activities. Well located next to a supermarket (small exito) and conveniently close to the Parque Lleras. It is a quiet place, so don't expect to have a party going on there. Which may be a good thing.

Feels like a prison. Ok to sleep so long as you have masacistic tendencies and enjoy hard beds.

Owner of hostel is very nice but the older female staff member is quite rude. We booked a private room and the bed in the room was hard as a rock. I mean so hard i had a sore back when i woke up in the morning. The rooms are also very basic with no side table lights or anything.... More

It's in the poblado area so you can hang out in the parque lleras or in the other party hostels, probably the place to land in when you just got to medellin for a few days before moving deeper in the real city life. Nice staff, very clean, quiet , safe, a good hostel

As my first pick was overbooked I ended up staying here. I had my private room. The nights are really quiet (no cars on the street, no party in the hostel). Its location allows you to walk to the clubs, restaurants and a small supermarket all within a couple of minutes. The owner is super sweet and speaks fluent Spanish... More
