This hotel is one block from Plaza Madrid and right in the center of old town Cartagena... There is alot to in this area and there are a lot of bars and restaurants around.. very safe!!! Its not the nicest but it has a bathroom, bed and most important Air Conditioner! Ah, and cheap!!

I totaly agree with the last coments. The worst bit was the rip off price. Room with mosquitoes but no windows, dirty cupboards, empty picture frames.Just very unpleasent. The location good but better hotels at a much less cost nearby. Ended up at the Hotel Sol De La Indias, which was wonderful! I too was fooled by the reviews.
