Stayed at Casablanca on my first trip to Cartagena. This hotel feels like you're coming back to a home at the end of the day. Rooms are large and well appointed. It is quiet, spa-like and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Make sure to start your day with their breakfast of local fruits, breads and juices.

It was charming and lovely, and just the sort of place to relax and have some fun in. And it's within the walled old city and in short walking distance to much that you'd want to see. I wish they had the jacuzzi on the roof deck working, though. My only complaint.
