We just loved staying at casa Lola. The staff is helpfull, the styling of the entire place is wonderfully done and the rooms are magnificent. And..the price is very reasonable! They serve a great (price included) breakfast as well. The rooftop pool is not big but very nice and private. Getsemani is a great neighborhood to stay: vibrant, colorful and... More

When you walk in you are struck by the decor. The reception area is a mix of modern and antique and while checking in was immediately offered something refreshing to drink. They gave me a little map of Cartagena and showed me where I could find the Old City, ATMs, and a nice restaurant which was super helpful. I was... More

I visited Cartagena last week and I chosed Casa Lola because of "the new york times" article talking about Getsemani as the trendiest Cartagena neigbourghood, also recommending this hotel. The building and decor are completely amazing. The staff really close and taking care of the guests all the time. And really Getsemani is definetly the place to be!!!!!! I encourage... More

We booked this hotel at the very last-minute due to an unprofessional incident with La Passion, and we were so glad La Passion messed up because Hotel Casa Lola is so much nicer in every way and also much better value! The pictures on Lola's website do not do it justice because so much of the design is the 360... More

I loved my stay at Casa Lola - simply fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and historic with amazing art and items on display - a true luxury hotel experience. Loved the courtyard area and the water features - a lot of effort was put into the design of this hotel. Staff are world class and professional. The breakfast was wonderful.... More

The good: Casa Lola is a very good price compared to the largely expensive luxury hotels in Cartagena. It's very stylish with a Moroccan riad feel due to its open central courtyards, plush lounging areas, and trickling fountains. I especially loved their eclectic art collection including a number of pieces by Spanish pop artists, Miranda + Caceres. The staff is... More

Friendly staff and artsy lobby and dining areas get totally negated by incredibly poor rooms. Our party had a total of 4 rooms and they ranged from bad to unlivable. The worst is room 3 - the living area is no more than 150 square feet. With a queen bed in the middle, you cannot move around. There is absolutely... More

We stayed at Casa Lola on the recommendation of some friends who visited Cartagena a month or so before we did and we were thrilled! The hotel is exquisite. Modern (but not in that urban "slick" way) design in a 200 year old building! You can tell that every piece was curated with a very discerning eye. From the tiny... More

Great hotel...staff was very pleasant and helpful from the minute we walked in the door. The most impressive aspect of the hotel was the architecture, the interior designs, and the art on display throughout the hotel. All rooms are different. Breakfast is served on a fantastic courtyard patio that includes a water feature. It is located within an easy walk... More

Gorgeous hotel just outside of the Walled City. We loved the decor and attention to detail. Not all the staff speaks English, so we had to break out the phrasebook, but in all, did not have too much trouble. The only negative thing was the lack of hot water, which I would have expected for such a nice and classy... More
