Booked a Deluxe Standard (Double Beds) via Elong two weeks prior to arrival. Rate was RMB 590 per night, which included two breakfast buffets each morning. Housekeeping also left complimentary fruits, spa tickets and little trinkets throughout our stay. A quick critique of the hotel is as follows:

This luxurious hotel has everything you need for a great stay in Shaoxing. My friend and I stayed one night there in mid-Oct. Our room was located on 3rd floor facing the garden. The room was clean, very comfortably furnished and decorated and had a nice bathroom. However, we had problem after shower (water came out all over the bathroom)....

"Old" being in the title of this XianHeng hotel is misleading because as of Summer 2010 it was completely refurnished and is both beautiful and comfortable. "Old" may be in the title because there are two XianHeng's in Shaoxing, so be sure to check the address. I do not believe they are sister hotels.
