Recently stayed here for 3 nights for business trip in June 2012. The staff are friendly and their english sufficient for checking in and out. The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints there. Nearby train station Staff not well trained , slow in check in and out. Less helpful. Dining environment is good but they allowed visitors to smoke in indoor including lobby

We had a drama when checking in, the deal that we booked included breakfast for two people, daily. They tried to give us one breakfast for one person on one day only! After staying at the New Century in Qiandao Lake, we decided to check out the New Century in Ningbo. The hotel itself is not too bad, but the rooms are a bit dated. Nothing compared to the New Century in Qiandao Lake. The location is pretty convenient.

Spent 2 days in Ningbo; I go every 2-3 months for business, and have tried many of the "top" hotels, only to find something lacking. The rooms are good sized, comfortable beds, clean, plenty of water pressure in the shower. Free computer and Internet on the executive floors (where I stayed) for only $94/night.
