We stayed there on a business trip last month and found it was very convenient location for our meetings which were not very far from the hotel. Most in walking distance.

We stayed for 4 nights waiting to get into an appartment complex further uptown. Good value for money, especially if you want to explore expat town, less so for shopping, but then there are always inexpensive taxis to take you anywhere. Klaus
I strongly recommend the Aike Business Hotel for short stays in Chengdu. The rooms are small but clean and well appointed, free internet, the staff very friendly (cannot say enough good about the wonderful people at the front desk), the location is perfect (near a subway stop that gets you downtown in ten minutes) and the price is great for...
