- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
-
Qingdao will be the host city for water sports at the 2008 Olympic Games. Its other claim to fame is that it is the home of Tsing Tao beer, seen in all the world's Chinese restaurants. The Surf Plaza Resort enjoys a pride of place on the beach - the perfect place to stay whether you are travelling on business or for pleasure. The Presidential Suites are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including bathrooms of over 50 sq. m. All the suites enjoy a sea view. The resort's 70-metre swimming pool is unique in China being made of white marble, a material traditionally used for engraving and sculpture. It will become the spectacular centrepiece of Qingdao Star, a new recreation club, scheduled to open soon. The Mirage Restaurant, serving the finest international cuisine, overlooks the Yellow Sea to the Laotian Mountains beyond. But there is a wealth of choice in the Lincoln Bistro which specialises in Chinese or western seafood.
