Rooms are really very simple. I have seen much better hostels in China. However bar in the first floor is really nice and cozy.

This hostel was an old church -- so this makes good explanation why there's no elevator in this 4-story building. The walls between rooms are made of woods so keep your voice down or others will definitely hear you very clearly. The manager (mr sun) is very helpful but the others are just ok. There is a lounge on the...

We stayed in this hostel back in October 2010 and really enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom was fine, the food and bar was very good and the staff were helpful and friendly.

We chose a room for 2 with a shared bathroom. The room and the bathroom were ok, clean enough, even though an effort could be made for the toilets.
Amazing breakfast, for only 25 kuai! (western breakfast, with a free coffe) and the food at the bar was reallly good
The bar was really nice, and we liked the free...

We stayed here in a twin room for one night and a deluxe twin room for three more nights. The twin room on the second floor was rather musty smelling and the bathroom was a bit dirty. We found a pair of old shorts behind the bathroom door that had clearly been there for quite a while. However, the deluxe...

Stayed here over a bank holiday weekend and really loved this place. The bar/restaurant was really relaxed during the day & quite lively at night with live music and great drinks. The rooms were nice, super comfy bed and lovely new bathroom. Great breakfast in the morning, although a little pricey for what you got, but after months of no...

The restaurant/bar is very nice indeed. Trendy. Cheap. Good food. Cozy....

This hostel is clean and quiet which is really all I require. The only downside for me was the travel guide we are using said the private rooms were Y120 in actuality they were Y180. Nevertheless they were clean! The food was good; I mostly ate toast for breakfast (best huge chunky toast of my life), pizza was decent, it...

If you have a thing for renovated or refurnished buildings turned hostels, you'll like this one. Love the wooden furnishings in the room and bathrooms. Conveniently located within walking distance from the train station. American/English breakfast a little disappointing but well, this is Qingdao.

only thing I wasn't too happy with is the toilets. Too dark at night and didn't flush very well, overall it has a really clean bathroom!
