We stayed there for 3 nights as part of a business trip. Staff was friendly and gave us exellent service. Location is fine for downtown, not for the beach. Only thing we found not in perfect shape was the shower that did not drained correclty. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Other than the signage, this is not a Shangri la hotel you would expect. Service is poor. Staff barely spoke English. Tasks, even if completed were done very slowly.

Hotel is very good place to stay in centre of Dalian. Japanse restaurant is very good. Hotel was under construction and will have the necesarry improvements. Breakfast is good.

Always been a fan of Shangri-La, in terms of its consistency in service level and quality. This hotel in Dalian is no different. As with all Shangri La hotels, location is superb.
