The hotel is not in the city center and although you can walk to almost anywhere in Dalian from there it is nearly impossible to cross the road without risking to be run over by cars that would not even slow down let alone stop at the pedestrian crossing. We had a short (2 night) stay in Hotel Nikko for a conference before heading onto Beijing. This hotel was lovely. The staff was excellent and spoke very good English. The room was very well-appointed. Buffet breakfast was as expected with lots of international choices and very good American coffee. Solid choice for a Western-style hotel in Dalian.

Hotel Nikko Dalian is well situated in the middle of Dalian. The room was large and had everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. Smoking however is still a problem here. This is a very elegant hotel, everything well-kept, kind of a boutique-style hotel. Artfully lightning in the hallways and rooms, comfortable and large bathrooms. Located near Zhongshan Square, a convenience store just in the next street. Checkin and checkout was fast. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, food was ok. I definitely would go there again.

Good hotel , nice city, fast internet connection, good TV programme, good for business purpose only. Nominal rate good food good environment only problem is there is no help to trasfer the luggage from the reception to your room and back
