First of all, it's a brand new hotel located in a busy section of the town. Rooms are very nice and quite luxurious especially the corner rooms. We decided on the Intercontinental for New Year after checking Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The corner room on the 22nd floor was superb, staff were professional and pleasant....not what we expected after staying in Hotels in Wafangdian. The Chinese restaurant was lovely and the Breakfast Buffet was superb!

I have been staying at the IC Dalian since 2009 and just love this hotel. So much better then the Shangri-La. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. Certainly one of Intercontinental's premier properties worldwide.
