My husband and I stayed there for three nights with our son and his wife. The hotel was very impressive and the rooms were lovely and spacious. They had thought about everything you could possibly need. The restaurant was very good and after ten days of local food we were delighted to find steak and chips on the menu which... More

This was a nice hotel in Suzhou and the location was quite good - near shops and some gardens. It has a pleasant large garden area itself and is lovely inside. The staff were helpful although their English is a bit limited. The English upstairs should be better in the business centre, but they were willing to please. The room... More

This is a very good hotel, with spacious rooms, with a lovely garden. In the garden is a small temple, great for meditation as it is relatively quiet. The only problem we had was the lack of air conditioning, we were told was not working yet as was not hot enough for the hotels central airconditioning control to be switched on.... More

This one is probably the most expensive one in Suzhou though it doesn't rival those extravagant places in Shanghai when it comes to the price. I just wanted to indulge in a bit of splurge for two nights and chose this hotel. The staff are attentive and never disappoint you though not so many speak good English. The area is... More

I stayed here due to a convention and was pleasantly surprised with how cosy this hotel is, they have a great bar and restaraunt to wind down in. The gardens are terrific and have all the expected Chinese charm with water and statues etc. I must say i had no issues with any staff speaking English (broken) except when ordering... More

We chose the Garden Hotel on the basis of the location and the reviews: we were not disappointed. The hotel is stylish, the staff is incredibly helpful (there was even somebody in the breakfast room to translate our omelette requirements for the chef). Internet is free and the breakfast is very good, at half the cost of other five-star hotels.... More

We took a train from Hongqiao Airport to Suzhou and it was cheaper and faster than the shuttle bus. We joined the taxi line at the Suzhou train station and our driver took us straight to our hotel. The hotel is located in a garden and our room overlooked a canal. An alley across the street led to Master of... More

Suzhou is well known for its beautiful gardens. This hotel is a situated in a pretty garden. There are historical buildings in it. It's well situated, just across is Master of Nets Garden. Easy short walk to Surging waves pavilion. Humble Administrator garden and Shan Tang street is a short taxi ride. Also, blind man massage is the next street... More

If you are visiting Suzhou as a tourist the Garden Hotel can't be beat for it's location. One of the famous gardens, Master of the Nets, is right across the street. Most of the others can be gotten to by a local bus that stops across the street also. Traffic is bad, so buses get to places just as fast... More

The garden hotel has hosted many foreign officials. Although it is not the most luxurious hotel in Suzhou, it is perfect for tourists. First, it is located in the heart of the old city , where most historical buildings , attractions are nearby . You will save a lot of time traveling. Secondly, the hotel consists of a we historical... More
