The twin bed room offers two beds with 1.2m with what suits the whole family. Good value for what you get. A disappointment was the pool since the kids were very much looking forward to. The whole pool area is a bit run down, the pool very cold and the showers/changing rooms are used as smoking and dressing room for... More

Stayed one night here in Wuhan - rooms were fairly small but nicely done out with great views of the city. Staff were pleasant. Buffet was OK although there were a few odd dishes (must just be my Western tastes!). Aircon in the rooms was a little ineffective but otherwise no complaints!

Close to the Wuhan Station. Reasonable price. The room is clean and tidy, bathroom has both shower room and bath tub. Free internet access. But no entertainment around the hotel. We needed to take a taxi to go to the town centre for fun.

We stayed here in August while in the process of adopting our second daughter. The hotel was very nicely located, the staff helpful and the breakfast buffet my husband's favorite during our stay in China. The hotel staff was kind enough to have toys and a crib (one that was just fine) in our room. There was also a baby... More

We stayed at the Best Western Mayflowers Wuhan March 4-11, 2011. We were VERY disappointed with this hotel for many reasons. First, the hotel is in much need of renovation particularly with the rooms. Worn carpet, chipped tiles, scuffed walls, broken Ethernet cord, outdated TV set, etc. Second, cleanliness was below expectations. The rooms were marginally cleaned each day. The... More

What a nice place. i was expecting this to be the weak link on my hotel itinerary - but actually it turns out it is very pleasant. Nice, very helpful staff, good rooms. And - the best room-service sandwich I have had in a hotel in China ever (tuna sandwich). All a very nice surprise. All at a very attractive... More

We stayed at this hotel as we were coming back from a cruise on the Yangtze river. There was a great buffet where we met alot of great people. For the style of hotel the rooms did need some renovation. It is China however and it was very close to a modern western hotel which after several days with non... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of September 2007. We had our own driver and car so pick-ups from the hotel were fine. The street in front of the hotel gets *very* busy at peak periods. Check in was painless. We had 3 rooms on the 16th floor - mine faced the street but apart from... More

The Mayflower Best Western of Wuhan is a good hotel to stay at in terms of location. It is very close to some of the best shopping areas in Wuchang. The hotel is rated 5 stars, but I think it needs some renovations. For example, the bathroom is starting to show some aging, the TV can be a little larger... More
