Not a bad hotel but the whole place is tired and showing its age.
The breakfast was pretty poor even by chinese standards, not even the coffee was good.
Tried the bbq, brazilian bbq was not available and the regular one was pretty poor.
Staff generally nice and helpful.
Jet bikes available on beach and reasonably priced (150rmb for 10mins)....

Loved the location. It was about a 15 yuan taxi ride (10 minutes) from downtown so we didn't have to deal with all the traffic and crowds.
It was only 1 minute from a secluded beach so one could easily go for a dip or walk (again, without the crowds).
Staff sucked. They will tell you not to take taxis...

Location is perfect if you want peace and quiet and convenience as it is only 10 mins from the airport and 1 min from a beach. It was great to get away from all the people in other parts of China! Facilities and hotel were good. Swimming pool is very big and never packed, in fact during the day there...
