It you ever find yourself i Sanya, this is the place to stay :D Nothing bad to say about this hostel, only that the breakfast is a bit boring. But because of the location you can easily find other places to eat.

Lovley time but chose to come around chinese new year, not great for the wallet!! Lots of tours available with very friendly english speaking staff to help. Bed soiled before I got in (hence poor review below) but seems like an exception to an otherwise well maintained place. Would stay again

The blue sky lies in a small backalley in dadonghai. If you know where to look for it, it is easy to find. The lonely planet description has the problem that it is not clear where to get off the bus. Best thing is its walking distance to Dadonghai beach. Probably nicest beach in China. Staff spoke some English and were quite helpful. Helped us arrange day trip while staying there in the hostel. Bedroom mattress felt a little strange.

The blue sky is not easy to find, but it is very close to the beach. The price is much too high for a room. During peak season you may find your self in a tent at 200 yuan a night. The staff speak English but are not too worried about helping you. Good location is the main point.

Stay here because it is cheap, and because it is close to a more social part of the Sanya beaches. Peter runs the place and has a good head on his shoulders.
