Stayed 4 night in Meritus Mandarin, in Oct 2011 great hotel, facilities are superd location for Haikou in good. Spa was very good open from 6.00am till 11.00pm Varity of food was great from Chinese/Continental/British but it was served as a buffet and got cold very quickly,staff were excellent All round great Hotel More

This hotel was not on the beach or near it. It is in the city. We stayed there for 1 night just to rest before going to Sanya. It turned out to be a very nice place with a great price. The service was good, too. People spoke English well. ATM and shopping was nearby. More

Stayed 2 nights in Meritus Mandarin Haikou in March 2010. Rooms are comfortable and big. It was well kept and clean. Standard of a 5-star hotel. The lift lobby on each floor smells really nice. The Meritus Mandarin is a good standard international hotel, with good clean rooms, efficient service and good standard amenities and our stay over three nights was enjoyable.
