Hong Bo hotel is located in the center of Shenzhen, 10 minutes far from "Window's of the World" park and 5 minutes from "Happy Valley" park. Inspite of good location, the hotel itself is AWFUL!!! Hotel looks grey and smells mouldy, maybe because of high humidity outside. Reception: there are many girls in reception desk, maybe, only 1 can speak... more

I have booked a luxury room type. The room was very modern and new with nice bathroom. It is not a big hotel but situated in a very nice residential area of the city. You don't feel the buzzing of the city much yet it is within walking distance to the metro which I think it is the best way... more

Hong Bo is a reasonable 3-star hotel. I stayed in the standard double room on 3/F which is reasonably clean and tidy. Hot shower is available but no bath tub for the standard room (RMB 300, about US$40). If you need a bath, choose the deluxe room (RMB 400, about US$55) on higher floors.
