Great hospitality at the hotel. Every service staff was extremely polite and helpful. Good food at the hotel. Although the hotel was located outside the city area, the hotel provides shuttle servce up to midnight which was really great. Each room has its own private hot spring bath if you prefer your own privacy. There s also an outdoor hotspring... More

Since the resort is 40 minutes from the airport of Xiamen, it is refreshing from all the busy life in Xiamen downtown. There is no train or bus connection; so a taxi or own car is the only way of transportation. But all in all it was definitely worthwhile. Adjacent to the resort are hot springs, and if a person... This was our third stay here and as always it was excellent in every respect-lovely, well prepared room, beautiful swimming pool and gardens. Somewhere to relax away from the centre of Xiamen.

I went to Riyuegu on 8 August 2011 and this was my 2nd visit so far. I need to comment that this visit was disappointing, as service quality from SPA Sanctury and the maintenance of hot springs were appalling. All surrounding stones and ceramic slabs around the hot springs therapies were slimy, indicating a layer of growing algae. There is... More

Riyuegu is a modern facility equipped with 5-star facilities and staff. The Superior room we booked was spacious, tastefully furnished and equipped with its own hot springs granite tub. Hot springs right in your hotel room! Realistically, the tub could fit 2 adults although you’d be in for a squeeze. We’d probably have to stack the toddler on top of... More

Lovely hotel - but not particularly cheap or good value considering where you are and that you still have to pay into the hot springs (prob the only reason you are there anyway). Food pretty good - but restaurants quite unatmospheric and 'cold'. Rooms not amazing. Clean and spacious, but nothing special and beds very hard. Hot spring bath was... More

Great. Definitely worth an excursion from Xiamen: about 30 to 45minutes by shuttle bus/cab to find yoursefl in another world (albeit in the middle of a remote industrial park) The Hotel is well run, food is good and the link to the Hot springs (situated on the other side of the dual carriageway) is easy A very chilled-out place to... An Impressive hotel resort. We got put here by our travel agent. The resort is about 40 minutes out of town and in the middle of an industrial area with a dusty town to the right of the main building. We would have preffered to stay in central Xiamen. But the hotel was fantastic, impressive grounds and hot spring park... More

A friend had suggested a hot springs vacation and Japan was too far for a weekend getaway from Hong Kong so we decided to try out Riyuegu in Xiamen. Having been a seasoned traveler in China, I was expecting Riyuegu to be just average at best given my experience with non-international hotels in China. To my very pleasant surprise, this... More

With most of the flights fully booked out for CNY period this year, me and my Australian bf ended up going to Xiamen during the long weekend as it was the only flight left for nearby cities. My bf was giving me grief as he was sceptical that it was going to be a good break since the concept of... More
