Xiamen was our first stop in China in our grand tour of the world. The hotel was difficult to find, so try and get a decent map, or ensure the taxi driver knows where he is going.

The facilities are fine; typical of a mid-range Chinese hotel. What distinguished this place from places we stayed in later was the service. The staff were really helpful and kind.
