“Perfect business hotel”

A very good hotel with clean and large rooms and a good breakfast (important for most non-Chinese travellers). location is well in a business distrisct and just about 20 minutes (25 RBM taxi) from HeFei airport. Effective check-in and -out procedures (unfortunately in many other hotels not standard in China anyway) and nice ambiance. Would stay there again.

“Reasonably good hotel but location is quite out of the way”

Located in the new district of Hefei, it is surrounded by residential properties. The nearest shopping mall is about 5 mins cab drive away from the hotel. Room is big, comfortable with almost luxurious bathtub. Value for money. Hotel buffet breakfast has a very wide spread.

It is clear that the Hongrui Jinling Hotel is geared toward local Chinese customers. They had a difficult time with a US-based credit card at checkout. What should have been a quick 3 minute affair turned into an agonizing 20 minute wait as the clerk and then her manager struggled with the machine. I offered to pay cash but they... More
