I stayed at Casa Escondida 2 nights at beginning of february 2012 and 1 night near the end. This guesthouse is about half way between Punta Arenas and the airport, so 10 mn by car to town and 5 to 10 mn to the airport. There is 1 main house with 2 bedrooms and a lounge/dining room and some bungalows.... More

We stayed here our first and last night while visiting Patagonia. Pamela's brother, Mauriceo, was our host along with their charming mother, Edita, who is a retired schoolteacher. Since we were going to visit the Torres del Paine national park, Pamela suggested previously by email that we stay at Hosteria Lago Tyndall in the park, which turned out to be... More

Awesome host & hostess, plus super-friendly service. Plenty of room for staging gear for expeditions, adventure racing, etcetera. You gotta try the sauna &the sea bass-- excellent ;)

There is not much we can add to the glowing comments of others. The B&B is located in a quiet woodsy setting and is both charming and comfortable. Pamela and Luis are great hosts and went out of their way time and again to make sure we enjoyed our stay in the area. Their home cooked meals, breakfast, lunch and... More

We stayed here at the end of a Patagonia trip and it was nice to have a few days to relax somewhere cool and away from the 'hustle and bustle' of inner city hostels. The whole place has been built by Luis and there's a certain charm about relaxing in a cabin by a woodfire. One of the family is... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this great B&B. The room was furnished with rustic furniture and the bed was very comfortable, everything was fine in the bathroom, although it was chilly. The B&B is run by Luis & Pamela and they are wonderful hosts, they put so much into helping you have good stay. We had a fabulous meal... More

My wife and I have traveled internationally,, three months a year, for ten years. Normally, we don't stay at Hiltons, but we do our best to find good places. This is the best of all the places we have stayed. The place is nestled in trees. Luis has built this place down to the home made furniture. The place is... More

Our family visited La Casa Escondida for two great nights. This is a family run establishment that makes its guest feel right at home. From the warm fire in the main room to the delicious meals to the clean and comfortable rooms....everything is first rate. We have a family of five and stayed in one of the snug cabins located... Great start to a Patagonian dream vacation. The only place I would want to stay in Punta Arenas after seeing the City. It is good to be outside the center in this case, the grounds are gorgeous and secluded and the sauna is hot! Pamela helps plan what you should do and they will drive you in to town or... More

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, tired and disappointed that our initial whale watching plans had to be cancelled due to bad weather. Edita was in the kitchen and Mauricio showed us our rooms. It was like coming home. Our moods brightened because of the happy mood of La Casa Escondida. We stayed two nights, the second night...
