Nice enough hotel, very warm (temp in the hotel) a few service idiosynchonisis but once you get used to those then it is a nice place to stay, basically don't sweat the small stuff you are on South American time.

On Feb. 8 and 9, 2012 my husband and I stayed at the Best Western (BW) Finis Terrae in Punta Arenas, Chile. We booked it because it belonged to a well-known chain of hotels and the price was right (our other choice was the Dream Hotel but it was booked). Everything about the hotel appeared to be OK when we...

For your information the bugs die or hibernate under 16 ° C. Punta Arenas has an average temperature of 10 ° C. I think you could carry inside your bag from your country or another hotel from the north of Chile. Furthermore, we have never had these types of claims because we make preventive fumigation.

Some people do moan a lot don't they?
I usually try and avoid chains hotels like Best Western, mainly because they usually have their head offices in a different country from the one you are staying in so they repatriate the profits and no benefit accrues to the local economy, however I gather that this one is locally owned.
